A love that is true and kind
Which pulls up and not let drown
Gives cuddles to keep warm
Not the coldness that harms

Together in the league of life
Working together as one
Running in two legs to sustain
Not in one leg, struggling and in pain

Enjoying the pour of the rain
Not the tear duct continue flowing
Excited heart looking forward
Not squeezing the ache afterwards

This is just an ideal definition
The expectation to feel caress
An undying support and quarrel
Yet together hand in hand moving

How can I tell if you are true?
Have already been hurt and blue
Only fact is acceptable to say
Spill it, don’t want to be disarray

Could be better late or never
But I prefer earlier
Been in a storm of emotion
